Rebecca Lindland is responsible for the monthly U.S., Canadian, and Mexican sales forecasts for the North American Light-Vehicle Forecast Report. Rebecca joined Global Insight in September 1999 from AlliedSignal in Rumford, Rhode Island, where she forecasted production of Bendix Brakes. A life-long automotive enthusiast, she started her career as a staff accountant with Mercedes-Benz Credit Corporation in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Lindland is frequently quoted in the media, including New York Times, Business Week, Reuters, Bloomberg News, Los Angeles Times, Detroit News, and Wall Street Journal. She has also appeared on Bloomberg TV, MSNBC, CBS News and Wall Street Journal Radio.
Lindland holds a double major in accounting and business administration from Gordon College, Wenham, Massachusetts. She is a member of the Society of Automotive Analysts, the New England Press Association, and was accepted into Strathmore’s 2001 Who’s Who in American Business.
