Global Trade Forecast
IHS Global Insight's World Trade Service Quarterly Forecast combines IHS Global Insight's proprietary databases, public data sources and private market research to provide an independent, fact-based outlook of global trade and transportation.
The World Trade Service Forecast shows that global trade will increase 8.1 percent this year and 6.9 percent in 2011. Capacity will expand through 2012, which, when combined with rate hikes, will allow carriers to break even after a dismal 2009.
